It’s Better to Give Than to Receive

HENRY’s HOMEMADE ICE CREAM is an active participant in all community events in Plano & Collin, Dallas Counties and the state of Texas. Henry often wonders how he has the time to manufacture Ice Cream. Whether it is donating gift certificates, hosting fundraisers, it is our belief that we must support the community that we are part of in every way possible.

Associations

He is a 20 year member of the Texas Restaurant Association; and is currently on the Greater Dallas Restaurant Association’s Board of Directors. Henry shares the concerns of restaurants.
Henry is Past-Chairman of the Plano Chamber of Commerce.

Nationally

Henry J. Gentry, Jr. is Past-President of the National Ice Cream and Retailers Association in 2000-2001. Henry’s Homemade Ice Cream is a member of the Texas Restaurant Association and shares their concerns. Henry’s Homemade Ice Cream won the National Award in 2005; The Mock Forrest Award for dedication and leadership in the Ice Cream Industry.
